Vermicelli Idli is one of the Tasty tiffens. Its really filling and heavy breakfast. Having said that the taste is something which you can take up for the heaviness.
Ingredients:
Vermicelli-250gm
Curds-4cups
Idly rawa-1 cup
Ghee-50gm
Ginger pieces-1 inch
Green chillies-6-8
Black gram dhal –1 table spoon
Salt to taste
Curry and coriander leaves
Cumin seeds-1 table spoon
Carrot-1
Cashew nuts-8
Black pepper-1 table spoon.
Method of Preparing Vermicelli Idli :

Method of Preparing Vermicelli Idli :
In a pan take little ghee fry cashew nuts and remove,roast vermicelli till warm and remove, roast the rawa also.
In a pan take oil add mustard seeds and cumin seeds to it when they splutter add the Bengal gram dhal and black gram dhal fry for a while and add green chilli paste, ginger pieces,carrot,coconut,soda powder,curds and mix well pour to the idly stand and steam idilis for 15-20 minutes serve hot with coconut chutney and samber.
