ingredients required:
thuvar dhal: 1/2kg
fenugreek dhal: 50 gms
grated coconut: 1/2
ginger:a little
asafoetida: ne pinch
tamarind: 1 lemon size
salt: as per your taste
jaggery: one spoon
mustard: 1 spoon
Method of preparation:
put a vessel on the stove mith 2 litres of water.after the water is boiled, add one pinch of turmeric powder, thyvar dhal. dhal begins to nbake, squeeze the tamarind and keep the juiice in small cup. after dhal has boiledthree fourth, add jaggeryfenugreek seed to the same. when dhal and the seeds are bakedfully add the squeezed tamarind juice, salt, grated coconut, curry leaf and boil the same after itis boiled well season the same with mustard and asafoetida.
